I have started working out again after a year long break. I am still moderately fit but do not press myself too hard in my workouts. I am usually doing a workout that lasts 30-50 min with a steady, raised heartbeat. I don't have any difficulty with the exercise and my diet is balanced and complete. However, whenever I workout, I get extremely tired instead of energized. I require at least 9 hours of sleep instead of my normal 7 and I am tired throughout the morning. I usually get my energy level up in the late afternoon about an hour or two before I workout. What can I do? This has never happened before - when I worked out daily up until last year I had lots of energy and could function well on 6 hours of sleep if necessary. Any suggestions?

maybe ur body got used to being sedentary. anyways, i feel the problem lies in your diet. do you have enough water?

also, try and get your exercise in the mornings. see if it helps.
if all else fails, turn to yoga. it will definitely energise you along with toning you up. but please do it only under expert guidance.

I don't exercise but I am on the go, go, go and I need energy for the day. I just recently discovered through a friend about a natural and healthy (and diabetic safe) energy drink that is only $1.oo per serving. I drink 2 per day. One at 8:30 and one right after lunch and I have more energy than I have in years, of course I'm 45 ... Everyone in my family loves these as well and I thank God that I was able to get my children away from the Monsters, Bulls, and Amps which are very unhealthy for our young generation and I have also experienced a significant cost savings as well ... Natural & Healthy is the way to go ... Feel free to IM or e-mail me
