The best scuba diving and simple views of the coastline from the car are in Laguna. The best place to people watch is Venice. The best place for the kids is Santa Monica Pier. The most secluded beach for romance/privacy is North Malibu/Leo Carrillo area State beaches. The best Yacht harbor is Marina Del Rey
