Well, this is really simple and I make it for myself all the time as a snack:
It's just sliced up baguette with either pâte/terrine or olive oil with lemon juice. Both are really good and snacking on them is nice.
Cut some cornichons in half to have with it.
Also, you could take some baguettes, slice them up, slice some tomatoes and mozerella. You just put the tomato and mozerella slices on the baguette slices, then make a basalmic vinegar and olive oil vinegrette (with garlic, salt, pepper, &c.) and pour it on top of them.
For the top one any wine is acceptable and for the second one i would probably say a warm red or a sharp white.
You could also buy some sushi rolls :^) hope all that helps! :^) I love parties and have a great time!

I host a organization of 10-12 each couple of months and I have this effortless activities that all of us love - it is so effortless and well: Buy a massive loaf of French bread, ranch dressing (or you'll unfold mayo alternatively - however ranch is widespread wherein I reside in Texas), mustard, first-rate lunch meats (turkey is a widespread one) and well sliced provolone cheese, two thinly sliced tomatoes, one million thinly sliced white onion, two thinly sliced avacados, lettuce. Make one massive effortless sandwich from all of it, and reduce it into little sandwiches. Arrange beautiful on a pleasant platter with a few carrot sticks. The entire factor takes most effective 20 mins to create. I placed out paper plates, napkins, chips/salsa, and I'm performed in order that I will have a laugh with my peers and no longer slave away. Your concept of jello pictures is first-rate! Fill an ice chest with little bottled waters, cokes and vitamin soda for non-drinkers and dieters. Leave the lid open so men and women can see it is there for the taking. An further bag if ice is helpful except you may have a tremendous ice maker. Enjoy - it is all approximately the joys!

Buy a round bread loaf of any kind, I use rye but pumpernickel & sour dough is fine as well
T- Marzetti dip either Dill or Veggie is what I use but again preference
Cut the middle of the bread out (making a bread bowl) and slice the piece you cut out up in bite size dipping pieces. Pour the dip in the middle of the bread bowl. Place the bread bowl with the dip inside on a platter with the bite size pieces around the edge to dip. This is always the first thing that goes at my house. I also sometimes buy a extra small round bread loaf to cut up for extra dipping bread.

Fondue is great! There are so many recipes on the net. I even found one for homemade marshmallows to go with chocolate fondue! TO DIE FOR!! Also use strawberries, cubed pound cake, pretzels, etc...
Another thing... Fruit Bruschetta
Slice pound cake about 1/4 inch or 1 cm. and toast them in a toaster over just a bit.
Spread cream cheese (flavored if you like, I like plain)
Add sliced fruit on top (Strawberries, kiwi, etc..)
