A quick fix is to lightly smooth your hair with a dryer sheet. Careful not to overdo it or you'll look greasy.

A good conditioner should help keep you less staticy. But for emergencies carry a dryer sheet in your purse, and to keep you from over doing it and looking greasy use a used dryer sheet (one that has already been through the dryer with a load of clothes) this will keep you hair from looking dull and smelling like too much like laundry. Good luck!

I was looking at your question and am glad to try and help. I used to ask this question a lot because I get static quite a bit. First, one thing you may try is to use a good conditioner something that you like. It doesn't have to be expensive. Second, there is this spray that I used to used called"Bed Head". I'm not sure what company makes it I believe that it is Laural. Hope this helps...

I've heard that running one of those dryer sheets over your hair will help.
