I have never been out with any of my boyfriends for a month before he is my first! He doesn't think that it is important. So what should I do that let's him know that I'm happy with him and I care without going over board?

Generally 1 month anniversaries aren't celebrated. But if you are going to celebrate I would keep it low key. Get him a card and maybe something small to show that you care. However I also think knowing how serious the 2 of you are is important before buying him anything that is going to empty out your wallet and scream to the high heavens that you are madly in love and planning for marriage. You don't want to scare him, nor do you want to make him think that you don't care....get what I'm saying?

Going over board...You don't need to do anything for your first month anniversary. Wait at least until 6 months....

well, sounds like your fairly young... the vast majarity of men don't care about a one month anniversary... if your realy happy with him, give him a big hug, and a kiss and just ask if he realized that it's been a month that you've been together, and that he makes you happy... no gifts, nothing more then that...
he'll like that... if you get him something, he'll feel bad because then he thinks that me messed up, and should have gotten something for you...

Dont go overboard or you might scare him off. I would tell him how special it is that yall made it to your first and leave it as that :) congrats!!
