Tatoos given prior to the Tribulation are not the mark of the beast. I think anyone getting a tatoo 3 1/2 years into the Tribulation should be cautious; all we know is that this "mark" will either be on the right hand or the forehead. Will it be a tatoo? We don't know.
The link between the m.o.t.b. and currency is this: anyone who doesn't have the mark cannot buy OR sell, so currency will be worthless to them.
Peace.

The mark of the beast is a spiritual mark not a literal one. It is on the head because of a person's thoughts and on his hand because of the person's actions. It is a 6 because of the fact that man was created on the 6th creative day (not necessarily 24 hours) and it is repeated 3 times for emphasis as is "Holy, Holy, Holy" when referring to God. To put it all together, if a person looks to other humans for rulership rather than to God, he has the mark of the beast. The angels will see it and this person will be destroyed. There is no link between currency and the m.o.t.b. but people keep trying to link it with the physical and Satan is sure giving us lots of distraction so that we won't understand that it is a spiritual mark.

tattoos are what some people want on their skin/body for body art ... like dyeing your hair, getting plastic surgery done etc. it's about making ones self appealing or expressing one's creativity. Some people do get carried away with it --- they become vain about looking a certain way.... and vanity is listed as a sin.... haven't seen that tattoos are the mark of the beast... but to me I wouldn't do that to my skin because I am the Lord's.
Since Jesus died for all sin then if you feel it's wrong for you to have tattoos then you can be forgiven for that...

no, the mark will be something we have to have on our forehead or hand to buy or sell or do our daily business. It is to be something to do with 666 or relating to 666. Some people think it may even be a computer chip implanted in our foreheads or hands. What it comes down to is hopefully, we will be aware of what it is when we have to make the choice.

the mark of the beast is unknown and many cristains debate on what it is. tatoos are considerd a sin by some but its up to you to deside if they are/are not a sin. And all sins can be forgiven.

Who cares? You're basing your morality on an old book written by people in primitive times. We've evolved since then. There's nothing wrong with tattoos, other than that some look ugly.
The mark of the beast is religious superstition. It makes for great fiction, but is otherwise useless.

No. Most likely not. So, no need to be forgiven, huh?

i suggest you cut it out with knife if you are truly sorry then he will hopefully forgive you. if you are not willing to give sacrifices to god then you are not worthy of heaven. then again who is really is worthy nowadays.
