The average amount a Border Collie Mother would have would be about 4 to 8 puppies 6 is the average.

Border Collies can have anywhere to 5-10 puppies on a average. If you want to know a close number your dog will have just take her to the vet when she so far along for her check up and they should tell you, but you may have to ask.

they average 5-10 pups. but the record is 14 i think.
