Boil them with potatoes and green beans, salt them just a tad and eat when thoroughly boiled. Butter on the veggies and corn bread. Yummy. My mom made it last night when we went to her house. Was great. Southern cooking!

Smothered Pork Chops
Ingredients
Any cut of Pork Chops
Half a white or yellow onion
One Red Pepper
Minced garlic
1 can cream soup
1 can gravy
3-4 cups of water
Seasoning (salt, pepper, sage, garlic powder)
Olive Oil

Add about 3 tablespoons of olive oil to a deep pot (about 4 inches)
Add minced garlic, sliced onions & red peppers & sautee
Season pork chops
Take out the garlic, onions & peppers & place to the side in a bowl
Brown each side of the pork chops (1-2 minutes per side, med flame)
Add all the browned chops to the pot (probably will have to put them on top of one another)
Place the garlic mixture on top of chops
In a measuring cup or bowl mix the water, cream soup & gravy.
Pour this mixture on top of the chops.
Cover pot & bring to a boil.
Once it's boiled, turn flame down low & let it simmer for about 2-3 hours. The longer it simmers the more tender the meat will be.
Serve over rice or with mashed potatoes along with a veggie if you like & enjoy.

STUFFED BAKED PORK CHOPS

4 to 6 lean pork chops
4 to 6 c. stuffing mix
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
1 diced apple
2 cans Campbell's golden mushroom soup
1 c. white or red wine (or water)

Prepare stuffing mix. Fry pork chops and place in 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Heap about 1 cup of prepared stuffing on top of each pork chop. Mold the stuffing lightly into an attractive shape. Mix together soup and wine (or water if you must). Pour carefully over pork chops and stuffing. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.

APPLE CINNAMON PORK CHOPS

2-4 boneless pork chops (example: butterfly cut)
2 apples, peeled, sliced (Granny Smith are good)
1 can frozen apple juice concentrate
1 cup applesauce
cinnamon
nutmeg (optional)
salt and pepper
potatoes cut coarsely in chunks
1 heavy bottomed deep frying pan and lid

Cut the potatoes and set aside; peel and slice apples and set aside.
Heat the frying pan WITHOUT OIL (do not use oil in this recipe). Sprinkle salt, pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg on 1 side of the pork chops.

Place the seasoned side down on the hot pan and sear the meat for 1-2 minutes.

Meanwhile, season the side face up with salt, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg. Flip the chops and sear the side you just seasoned for 1 minute.

Now add the can of apple juice and apple sauce, being sure to scrape loose the fried bits (fond) which is stuck to the pan - this adds extra flavor.

Add the apples and potatoes. Put the lid on.

Cook until apples and potatoes have become tender.

Dip in egg then roll in crushed saltine cracker crumbs, fry in a pan with some oil until done.. Easy and so good. You could also do stuffed pork chops :

1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup butter or margarine, divided
1 cup seasoned stuffing croutons
1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons minced fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 (1-inch thick) boneless pork loin chops
1-1/2 cups beef broth
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
DIRECTIONS
In a skillet, saute celery and onion in 1 tablespoon butter until tender. Transfer to a bowl. Add croutons, milk, parsley, paprika, salt and pepper. Cut a pocket in each pork chop; fill with stuffing.
In a skillet, brown chops in remaining butter. Transfer to a greased 9-in. square baking dish. pour broth into dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minute or until a meat thermometer reads 160 degrees F. Remove chops and keep warm.
Pour the pan drippings into a saucepan; bring to a boil. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth; gradually stir into drippings. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve with the pork chops.

Pan grill your chops only until brown. Remove from fryingpan and add mushroom soup (enough to cover chops) and a little milk to thin down a little bit. Heat soup in pan stirring in all the good pan drippings. Transfer chops to baking dish and pour soup over. Toss some chunks of potato on top (quarter the potato). Salt and pepper - cover with foil and put in oven at 350 degrees and bake for about 45 mins. or longer depending on the thickness of chops. Melt in your mouth!!!

I marinate mine in a ziplock. Lots of soy sauce, hot chile oil, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, chopped green onions, and good drizzle of honey. Shut the bag, make sure the marinade is all over the chops, toss it in the fridge and wait until dinner to grill them. Either outdoors or on a Foreman grill.

THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO MAKE DELICIOUS PORKCHOPS.

1ST-let the chops thaw out, season them too your likings, get a bigger sized zip lock baggie and fill 1/3rd of the bag with all propose flour. put one chop into the bag at a time, shake until you see the chop completely covered with flour.(This way is fried porkchops so of course you gotta let your grease get hot.
2ND- let the chops thaw out. season them too your likings, get a cookie sheet and cover it with aluminum foil put your chops on there about an inch or two apart. Cook in oven 350F for about half/hr. or until brown to your liking. (For flavor add onions on your chops while baking)
