I know of two people who had visions warning of 9/11 before 9/11 happened.

Doesn't that prove that they heard from the Lord God? When what the Lord showed them came to pass?

Why do people write mean answers. My last questions about prophetic word were thumbed down & no one seemed to understand my questions.

There is documentation for one, Kim Clement, in that he spoke it before others in a service, as one who is a prophet. Clement said directly that planes flew over ... and that there would be another terrorist attack ... There is a lot more to the prophecy. He felt disterbed with the vision (in 1996 I think).

And if the other pastor had a tape of it when received & spoken then there is document. His vision was shortly befor 9/11 but he didn't understand it. A vision of the statue of liberty holding up a sword instead of a light. And there was storm, lightening & thunder in the skys and on the sword. He knew that some trouble was happening but didn't understand quite what it meant.

Also, his daughter had a vision before Hurricane Katrina. During the month before & didn't understand it, until they were praying for Hurricane Katrina to turn. She fell into a trance / vision and say a sword hit the ground in Israel, then in the US & heard the Words, "Land for Land.".

A true prophet is always called by the LORD. So, I also believe these Christians I have heard have been called by the LORD and the vision is from God.

There are some Christians who believe the sprirtual gift of phophecy is no longer operative in the Church. But you and I know better, don't we?

Unbelievers will always give thumbs down to anything that isn't documented; my guess is that they were unwilling to take your word that the prophesies were given before 9/11.

Yes, a prophecy regarding future events that comes true does prove the prophet/prophetess spoke correctly.

Peace.

Most be don't believe in psychic ability. I would not call your friends prophets. If they were, and their vision's did come from God, then I think God would have also given them the power to stop 9/11. There is no reason God would give people visions just so they can know something bad is going to happen with no solution. Why would He waste his time for that?
You really only have the word of these people who say that envisioned 9/11, you dont have actual facts, so I would remain leery.

This is usually the case because lots of times a prophet is telling them about sin in their life. That is something most people don't want to hear about.

Read the book of 2 Samuel 12 for an interesting story about a prophet.

It could be that people write mean answers here because the truth of Christ is a light that shines and convicts people of their sin.

Jesus said in Luke 21:17 And you will be hated by all for My name's sake.

God inspires all sorts of different people, and I don't have a problem with that.

But lest clarify here - I think you'd get a better reception if you noted the difference between someone who makes a prophecy, and someone who has the calling from God to be a prophet.

I beleive God does speak to peolpe all the time and some just have become better at listening with their spiritual ears. Why else would so many who should have been in the buildings have been somewhere else for various reasons. I think they were told not to go. And fortunately for them they listened.

Because some believe we are not pure enouh to recieve dreams directly from God. Perhaps through his angels or our spirit guides. But not directly from him. And alot of times we misinterpret dreams we may have, due to the fact we are imperfect!

Im sorry i dont share into your delusions, i cant make my brain shut down that much. Its funny how people assume they have the one true religion and constantly fight over itt, if it was true then why do families break apart over christianity? If christianity is true then why were some of the worst people in history christian? why are jail cells packed with christian fundies such as yourself?
