cardio. getting your heart rate way up there for a sustained period of time. I like spinning, that burns LOTS of cal. I usually do at least 600 cal in an hour, which is a lot for someone that 5'5" and 120lbs.

swimming.. puts the least amount of pressure on your joints (especially if you are really fat and your knees are weak)
