Nov 1st is All Saints Day, when the church recognizes thoses who died and are in heaven, but they don't know about them. Kind of like the "Unsung Heros",

Yes. I am going to Mass tonight. There, maybe I can reach out and touch, in a spiritual way, my grandmothers, and my sister in law. I like to think that this is where they are.

I don't believe in saints. I believe in people though. Especially people that did good things. Perhaps they should rename it "All Good People's" day and recognize everyone that is a good person and not just the Christian ones

yes and a little later this afternoon plan on commemorating those who have gone before and also those Saints who do not have their own special day.
