A biogas powerplant is a system where biogas is used to generate electricity. The gas which is produced via anaerobic digestion is used to drive an electricity generator. By-products of this process are steam and hot water. The hot water can be recycled in a combined heat and power cycle to increase the temperature of the digesters to optimal conditions.

A biogas plant produces methane for use in power production. It can obtain the gas from many types of once living materials. Garbage is one source. Plant leftovers from canning and freezing of vegetables is another source.(leaves, cobs, husks, stems) Wood chips from a mill will work, aimal waste products have been used. In most large vats of these materials re mixed with bacteria that decompose the materials and give off methane gas which is collected as it bubbles out. The rmains if they were vegetable products are edible by animals. Most things that can be used to make ethanol, alcohol, using yeast, can also be used with the proper bacteria to produce methane.

Try wikipedia Nuclear power plants works on the principle of Fission If radio active fuels are kept at critical mass, they will decay and release heat. This heat is collected to some medium like gas, then the heat is used to make steam,Steam will drive a turbine, turbine the electrical Generator. The whole things should be done in a strong reactor vassal to avoid radiation and safe.

When Bio Degradable wastes such as Garbage, Cow Dung, human excreta are filled in a vessel (Called a Reactor) and mixed with water and introduced to microbes, methane gas is formed.
Since this Methane gas is formed from Biological sources, it is called BIO Gas.
The gas has a good calorific value (5000 Kcal/Kg) and is good for operating a Gas engine or for Cooking Purposes after separating the water from the gas.
Industrial applications include Distilleries where Spent wash after distillation is converted to Bio gas.
Most sewage treatment plants supply this gas to houses in the vicinity.

Bio Gas plant is an degenerator / reactor where bio degradable waste like Cow Dung is put in as slurry when mixed with water. With time it gets fermented and Methane Gas is produced as its result. This Gas is used for diffrent purpose like as fuel for cooking, generators etc.,
Electricity can be prodused with help of Methane when mixed in small 7 to 10% with Diesel which helps in combustion. The waste left as slurry can be used as bio fertiliser which is very good in quality.
Bio Gas can be a very good sourse of energy for developing countries like India which has a large number of cattles and also for our earth.
