I've had a root canal, and a gold crown on one of my molars. Problem is my tooth broke off. Now my crown has part of my tooth in it. Dentist put a post in my crown which worked for a while. Now he's recommending a bridge $2000 + dollars, which I cannot afford right now. Is there a god non - toxic adhesive that I can use temporarily until I get it fixed?

NO, there is not. Your tooth is probably decayed and that's why the crown came off again. There is just not much to work with and no good "gluing surface" remains.

You should have the tooth removed now, because it is only going to continue to rot and then it will be even harder to remove.

If you can't afford the bridge now (and the $2000+ fee is probably low in the US), just don't do it now. It's not an emergency matter. You'll get to it some day.

I agree with dr. sam, get the tooth out for now and save some money to get your bridge. most offices also do financing if that is an option for you. you can also go to your local dental school, if there is one in your area for reduced cost dental care. Jen if your dentist is only charging you 1000 dollars for a bridge please find another dentist!!! there are alot of butchers out there, and just because he/she is really nice doesn't make them a good dentist! and remember you get what you pay for. you will end up losing the teeth that are the abutments for the bridge if it isn't done properly.
