all relgion is bad to me because they restrict a person's right to be who they are. there are too many mixed messages which are unrealistic for people to try to follow.

I believe all religions now a days are no good. The worst is Jehovah's Witnesses. None are good because they are believe they are the RIGHT religion as opposed to the other ones. That right there makes them wrong. Also the fact they are manmade religions.
JW's live a life of lies. How many times do they need to predict the end of the world? How many JW's will stand to believe this religion after knowing this information.

ANY philosophy is best for the individual if it enables or encourages them to live a good and peaceful life without interfering with the freedoms of others. As soon as religion becomes a means of laying into anyone else's set of beliefs, it is worthless, both to the individual, and to the wider religion as a whole.

To me any that promote love, acceptance, and non-judgement are the best. I think that they all do that but not all of their followers follow the example.
The worst are the fanatics, found in most religions, that feel that they have to kill and destroy anybody that does not agree with them. This also includes the ones that may not be extreme but judge everybody and infringe on others' rights just because they are different.

I am personally not religious. If it makes someone feel better to believe in a religion then I am happy for them. Although, I really don't like the way the children of Jehovah Witnesses are treated, I feel so sorry for those kids.I don't like the way Scientologists treat their kids either, it is just wrong. Read up on these 2 it will shock you.

I think the only way to answer this is in broad terms. The best religion is the one that allows you to live the best life you can. The worst is the one that allows you to refuse responcibility for your actions.

I try not to judge different beliefs and religions. If someone believes differently than me, I respect that completely. So, I do not think any one way of life or religion is better than the next. It's all about personal preference. As long as people are kind and considerate, I don't care what they do. :-)

I'd have to say Buddhism seems to be the closest to a truly spiritual religion of peace and one-ness with nature and all living things. Islam seems to be the worst due to misinterpretation by many of it's followers...

There is no best or worst religion. It depends on the individual person, and what is best -pr worst-for him.
