I still have extremely spiritual dreams, and I am sought out now. While in a laundrymat, a woman and I started up a conversation about religion. She convinced me to come to her church that Sunday, and I definitely can say that I felt something there. I wanted to join that church, but after the service my sister was waiting at my brothers home that I was visiting to bring me back home to my mom's. I never got to join that church, never even got to go back to that town. Recently, with friends in a store, I passed an old woman heading out. She came back in, and said that when she had passed me earlier, "the spirit" made her follow me inside. She grabbed my hands, prayed for me, asked if I knew I was being called. She begged me to take her number, to call her that night. She was crying when she left. My friends laughed it off. I don't know what happened to the number, it disappeared. I left out a lot of details, and this has happened more that twice. Overactive imagination?

No its not. The devil wants you but God is sending people to show you that God is there. If you remember what kind of church you went to with that woman find one in your town and see if that is where God wants you. I take it from what you write your not saved. You need to be saved before joining a church. God is near so draw close while he is.

well, i don't believe your soul is a war zone but it will seems that way if you believe it is. my personal belief is that "soul" is the immutable, incorruptible "breath of God", pure energy. the "soul" can never be corrupted by "sin", can never be bought or sold, can never be fought over by angels and demons because "soul" IS "God".
of course, this is just my belief and i'd never try to foist on you as an ultimate truth.
