That's what it is to "have a friend in Jesus". Jesus NEVER EXISTED. Unless you're a compacent know-nothing, read about it in "The Jesus Mysteries" by Timothy Freke & Peter Gandy.

Well... it should be embarassing... especially when not only do they have an imaginary friend, but they usually insist on coming to your door and trying to introduce him to you.

What makes the works of Timothy Freke & Peter Gandy the absolute truth? Allow people to believe and live as they choose just as you would like that same respect.

I think what I find funny and scary at the same time is that you posted this with sincerity. You are not seriously basing your beliefs on that book are you? It seems that history would prove both you and the authors of your book wrong. At best most people acknowledge the existence of Jesus, the only argument (or difference of opinion) comes in when people do not agree as to who Jesus actually was.

Well good luck with that belief, let me know how it works for you.

You know what I love? When people who do not entirely understand other peoples beliefs decide to spout off about them. One book that denies the existence of Christ is not enough "proof" when there are other major religions who acknowledge His existence, even when they do not entirely believe in His deity. There is more evidence that Jesus walked the earth than there is of Shakespeare. Oh, but hes my other imaginary friend. Never mind.

I could suggest another piece of literature for you read. It's called the Bible. You have a right to your opinion but so do I and everyone else who will disagree with yours. Jesus is very real to many people all over the world. If you haven't read the Bible, check it out for another point of view.

God has placed in each of us a desire to know Him and an innate knowledge of Him (kind of like an adopted child seeking his birth parents). For those that have found thier Father, their spirit is calm, those that haven't...well...they try to deny Him. Read this in the #1 best seller of all time :-)
