My girlfriend and I broke up after about 2 years of dating. I had bought her an engagement ring, but didn't give it to her. After we broke up I gave her the ring because I didn't want to see it anymore. When I saw her the other day (almost 4 months since we seperated) she was wearing the ring. Why would she wear it? I didn't ask her about it, but I intend to do so.

If someone gave you something nice, would you put it away somewhere or would you make use of it?
It would appear to me on this end that she is simply sporting a piece of jewelry that is hers -- chances are, she probably wears other jewelry as well.
If the two of you are "broke up," then I would just let it be if I were you. For whatever reason, you gave her a gift -- it is hers now, she can do with it whatever she wants.

Sh!t Why you give it to her. You think a woman isn't going to flaunt some bling? It could be very well that she might be wearing it to keep other dudes away...but I'm sure deep in your heart you want to think that she is still in love with you, and can't stop thinking about you, so thats why she wears a ring, look don't get your heart broke again buddy.

Hell if its a nice ring she probably is wearing it for looks alone ut you never know she may still have feelings foryou or the simple desire to be irresistably desired by some man, basically the desire to get married andhave a real wedding ring on with a husband to go along with it...but ask her it ain't gonna hurt anything!!

You gave it to her thats why she is wearing it. You have NO business questioning it. Especially since you gave it to her AFTER you two broke up. Get on with your life you still have lingering feelings about her and she doesn't.

Ur first mistake was to give it to her...... U could have taken it back and gotten the money for it...... it is her ring now.... she can wear it if she wants to..... don't ask her.... i don't think U will like the answer.....
