i sure as hell wouldnt. thats what the internet is for...or paying some other person to do it for you..if you have that luzury? BUT i do remember a few years back when my little sister was like 3 years old...toys r us was having a big door opening at like 4 am for a huge sale and a special toy that just came out (i think this was during the pokemon craze) and we went there at 4am, stood in a line around the building for about 45mins before we got in to deal with all the crowd, rushing, trampling, and lines :| BUT my sister got her toy and she was SOOOOO happy that whole month for christmas and didnt even care that she didnt get that many gifts that year. sweet thing.

No way!! They will play with whatever it is then a few days later it's in the bottom of the closet, plus if you go to get a few weeks after christmas, you won't have to fight in the ailes and the long lines.

I might stand for 30 minutes, but not 2 hours. And besides, some people out there get pretty nutty if there is something that they were really wanting and there are only 2 left. Fights have broken out, and it just isn`t worth it to me.

I have, but now mine are all over the age of 8yrs old now and I give mine money and they get there things, mommy does not have time no more to stand in line to do that, but if they were younger I would. I do anything when they were younger to see there smiles, thats what its about, we go through pains to have them, alittle standing in line does not hurt as much!

Luckily I have a 5 month old son so he won't know the difference by Christmas. However I use to always think it was crazy that people do that. Now I can just see myself doing it just because its hard not to let them melt your hearts and try your best to give them what they want.
i wouldn't go to extremes but I would probably do my best to get what they wanted.

Umm..no way. I haven't been to a store for Christmas shopping in years. You can buy everything right on line and have it delivered.

No. My child is only 20 months and thankfully doesn't have any preferences except The Wiggles.

Probably not.
But I would gladly read a story book to my child for an hour at bedtime.
Good luck.

We should stop teaching our children to be so materialistic so no, I will be boycotting Christmas like I do every year. Its not a Christian holiday, its a Capitalist one.
