was in a relationship for a couple of years but knew this person for 5 years all up, were best friends.still love him and have to work with him everyday.found out he wasnt the person i fell in love with but am having trouble letting go of the dream.was lead to believe he was something hes not and now am crushed.would never have him back but cant get rid of the feelings.

I've been there. Still working at it, but here are some things I've done that have helped me move on:
-Find someone else. Even if it means getting into a meaningless short-term relationship, being with someone else takes your mind off of the ex.
-Every time a memory or desire for the ex pops into your head, IMMEDIATELY follow it up with the conscious reminder of why you aren't with the person (they are mean, ugly, cheater, whatever).
-Stay busy. The less down time you have, the less time you'll spend dreaming of Mr. Wrong.
-Get the person out of your life. This one is tough for you since you work with the guy, but you have to decide if continuing to work with this dude is keeping you from getting over him. Delete his phone #'s and addresses, NEVER call him, NEVER email him. Just get him out of your life so you can move on.
No matter what it won't be easy and only time can heal those kinds of wounds. Good luck and hope I helped.

Life has to go on....after the grieving period ..which is normal and infact helathy, move on....You know you are worth more than you imagine....keep your chin up and if you believe in fate, trust me all these happen to teach you for the future...You are more wiser now...thank your stars and find another good soul...you will....
