oh it gets worse.... it's not just a remaining bit o' poo... it's the remaining bit o' poo that is hanging on for dear life to the hair on your butt....

DINGLEBERRY is an old term - it is not sick or anything - it is not harsh either it mean fool but not as harsh as idiot or retarted, somewhere in there. But i think what was funny was the fact you walked around with it on your back for so long.
Just blow it off - dont worry about it, smile about it - if you are comfortable joke about it
You could say something like i guess i was a dingleberry for not having noticed the sign sooner....hahaha
just blow it off - but dont over do it it may make you the target of other pranks - just dont lose your cool and make a scene.

A dingleberry is the term to describe a nugget of poo that's been left behind, even after wiping. Pretty gross. I'm so sorry to have to tell you that.
