I split up with my girlfriend 4 months ago and miss her terribly. We were together for five years and we were incredible together. All our mutual friends and her friends were really upset that we broke up and have tried to say to her that she has made a mistake (they did this by themselves i didn't ask them to do this). She says that she is really confused and doesn't know what to do. I don't want to wait for her forever. I moved city to be with her and am thinking of returning home, but I feel that will be it. I still find the thought of not being with her very painful, as I used to think we would be together forever - i am a romantic. Anyway, what should I do? Do i return home?

Why don't you talk to her and ask her this question ? She is the only one with all your answers and shes the only one who can make up your mind about returning home. GOOD LUCK!

breakups are very painful. I have been in a few and have been the one like your ex-girlfriend and believe me she probably has already found someone else and has finally decided to end it with you. She's probably been stradling the fence on this issue for a while cause I know that my old mutual friends were surprised when I ended a 8+ year long relationship I just didnt know how to get out and felt that we were better friends than lovers. So my advice would be for you to move back home and go on with your life. Find someone who wants to be with you. Even though shes to chicken to tell you the truth!

five years is a long time. it would depend how long u two were together to deside when uve waited for her long enough. and if she means that much to u dont u think that shes worth waitin for? not forever of course. if i were u i would give her a lil more time to think about gettin back together. and if she needs a lot more time to think then i would move back home. if she wanted to b with u then she wouldnt have to think that hard about it.

Talk with her and let her know that if the two of you are not going to get back together that you are thinking of moving back to your home town.
