I've never been to Orange County nor have I ever encountered being locked up by Orance County deputies.
One CO in Baltimore City was convicted in the stomping death of an inmate held at the Baltimore City Detention Center. There were originally two on trial - but the judge threw out charges against one CO. The CO will have to serve any prison time in protective custody (perhaps out of state) because he would be a marked man anywhere in Maryland's correctional system.

I was treated very well by those COs who took me into custody but anyone who lays hands on an inmate - besides self-defense - deserves to lose his/her job or worst.
