Although most local education authorities across the United Kingdom have stuck to the traditional three term year, it is decided by each local education authority as to how the school terms are spent. The Department for Education has no say. On their website, they mention a six term year however:
"It is possible that some schools will adopt a six-term year for 2004-2005. The LA is responsible for setting holiday, term dates and sessions in the case of community and voluntary-controlled schools. The term dates of foundation and voluntary-aided schools are decided by their governing bodies."

it was proposed that the summer holiday be reduced to accomodate another half term in the school year...
I think this has been taken on in some education regions... but not all
Some only have 5 week summer holidays and some are still at the 6 week break.
So it has changed in places, but not all

You can check this technique: http://improvevision.toptips.org
Basically what glasses do is bolt the eyes into their refractive state and in order to transparent your lenses you need to keep up the poor vision that the lenses are intended to correct.
This program demonstrates to you a proved method to improve your vision naturally, permanently and with complete results.

Most people believe that once they are diagnosed with some vision problem and start wearing eye glasses or contact lenses to correct them, they will have to do so for life in order to see better. Those who want a permanent solution to improve eyesight typically resort to Lasik or other corrective eye surgeries. But you you can also improve your vision without surgery and can see perfectly well without using eyeglasses or contact lenses. You can check here to know how https://tr.im/8b6d1

Last time I checked it was still three. They have talked about changing it so the summer holiday isn't as long - but it's still 3.
