She tells me that we are supposed to be on a budget, and that I shouldnt spend our money on beer....then I see her come back from the mall and she had spent $65 on makeup!! Im like "what the heck, arent we on a budget??" and she says that she wants to look good for me. Then I told her thats what the beer is for!! Is she crazy or what?

LMAO @ "thats what the beer is for!!" Sounds like she didnt want you spending money on beer so she can buy makeup.. Don't you earn your fare share of the income? If so buy the beer and tell her to kiss your ***..And if she is so worried about buying beer she needs to take her *** to wal mart and get some cover girl...lol and if she used the i want to look good for you thing again.. tell her that you will save both of you money and date a rich HOT girl....hahaha have fun with it..

Sounds like a joke i once heard.
Booze will age you. Sounds like she takes better care of herself then you. You'll end up the crazy one when in the hospital with your liver shot. $65.00 on make-up is a hell of alot healthier then $65.00 worth of beer. Tell her to forget about the budget and you spend your paycheck on whatever you want and her the same if your that upset.

I dont know about the beer making her look better. But you should be able to spend your money on what you want to get. Talk with her again and tell her that she needs to consider your needs as well as her own. If it comes down to it, share the bills and use your own money for the things you want. :)

I think she could have gotten less expensive make-up, but I'm a girl so makeup is way more important than beer.

LOL, that was funny. I actually felt guilty for buying vodka when we were on a budget and not letting my husband renew his World of Warcraft account. Its about give and take, set up a budget where you two have an 'allowance' to do whatever you want with it.

Perhaps she doesn't like the way you are when you're drunk. Or, maybe she doesn't like alcohol in her home period. Either way... if the two of you are on a budget both of you need to learn how to save and spend the money wisely.

Tell her she looks so good already, that she doesn't need $65.00 worth of makeup. Then go and order two beers and tell her it's to celebrate how pretty she looks. If she doesn't care to join you in drinking, drink both of them yourself.
