When is it safe to consider yourself out of the "danger" zone as far as miscarriages? Is there a certain week you reach that your chances become very slim? Ive had 2 healthy pregnancies (for the most part) and no miscarriages but of course it still crosses my mind.....when is that milestone???? Thanks!!!!

I have always been told that the first trimester is where the biggest "risk" is. And the earlier you are the more likely it is. But, even once that danger zone is past there is still a possibility, but the chances decrease greatly.

I've always heard after the first trimester do you become safe from miscarriage, though miscarriage can happen at any month of pregnancy, but typically after the first trimester the risk of miscarriage drops.

Usually after twelve weeks. But it is possible to miscarry anytime. I'm almost 29 weeks, and I still worry, but I had a miscarriage scare early in both my second and this pregnancy.

80% of miscarriages occur in the first 12 weeks, and 75% of those actually occur before or at 8 weeks. I think most people relax in general after the 12th week :)

Yes, they say around 13 wks your chances for miscarriage drops dramatically. Also if your Dr. detects a heartbeat that diminished the chance for miscarriage.

I was allways under the impression up until 12 weeks your pregnancy can spontaniously terminate, the every week past 12 weeks you chances decrease.

i thought it was the third month but i miscarried at 12 weeks, so i would say at the end of the second trimester you are out of that danger zone

I think it is after 3months. Just think nothing but happy thoughts. I know what you completely mean though. Just be positive and everything will be fine!

after the baby is born. Anything can happen up until birth.
