I have struggled with depression, panic attacks and social anxiety for much of my life. I started taking Zoloft 2 years ago and I haven't looked back. I take it at night before bed to lessen any side effects, but there haven't been many. Zoloft is safe to take during pregnancy and while nursing, and it really helped me after the birth of my daughter. I currently take 150 mg per day. Every person's brain chemistry is different, and Zoloft may not be the right cure for you, but if you work with your Dr., you will beat this! I hope this helps. Good luck and congratulations on being brave enough to get the help you need!

I'm sorry, but it did not work for me. THe prozac helped, plus other medications helped......we (me and my psychiatrist) just had to keep trying different combinations until we got it right. Now I stay pretty leveled out most of the time. I have bipolar also.

My daughter took it years ago and it caused her to have suicidal thoughts so bad that she overdosed on it. She had to be admitted at a Mental Hospital. Please, be careful and consult your Physician about what you need to take.
