"If I feel lazy this year, what shall i buy as xmas gifts for friends?"

Can someone tell me why? Is it because of the word "xmas" instead of "christmas". I just cannot understand which part of it violated the Yahoo Community Guidelines.

Thanks.

I honestly do not know. Apparently someone reported you though.

I had a question removed also "Do you like to answer or ask questions on yahoo".

When you receive the email notification there is a link you can click on to rebuttle.

There are people on this site called "trolls", who report questions for abuse for no reason (or because they don't like you or something). As a result, sometimes perfectly good questions get deleted for no reason. In fact, I believe yesterday's Y!A blog was about this. It happened to me recently also. I'd say just ignore it and move on.

Question the violation. I also think they Yahoo may just be automatically violating people without reason because someone didn't like your question.

Well, Yahoo may have taken your points, but someone on the site reported it.

There was nothing wrong with your question, as far as Im concerned.

I get loads of pointless violations aswell, my last question to get deleted was "who is your favorite stand up comedian" its utterly stupid. Yet people answer and ask with afence and swear words and get away with it. I think its a simple matter of yahoo staff be stupid idiots.

Someone reported you for abuse, and you did not appeal, so you are guilty as charged. Try and be a bit more sensible in future if you want to be taken seriously.

No, you didn't violate any guidelines. It "costs" you 10 points to ask a question - any question. It's just their system. That way people answer more questions than they ask.

Answer 5 questions (2 points each), and then ask 1, and it balances out.
