I am not able to get a manual for it so i can use it on pictures...any ideas???

Please help me ..how to I remove people from a pic or make a person look thinner?

The Gimp being open sourse software is a little ramshackle on it's support side however:....http://gimp.org/windows/

This has tutorials and a "wiki" to help you, I really would give it a go, yes it looks a little daunting at first glance but when you really get into it really is good and hey! it's free!

And everybody else, yes it used to be just Linux but you can get it for Windows.

Gimp...Linux??
You should be able to go to www.isohunt.com and download a pdf file. You should also simply google for the manual.

I gave you the link for the on-line manual...have fun.

GIMP is for Linux what Photoshop is for Windows/Mac.. Its a photo retouching/ editing software.. you can check out various Linux forums for help/ tutorials
