Spirituality is meaningless. It's a non-word.
At best, it is just awe and respect for the Universe. At worst, it is a load of superstition. Either way, it is vaguely defined but people talk about it as if they are talking about something concrete, which it isn't.

People need to get a proper definition of what spirituality is and then we will know how important it is. People running around the place calling themselves spiritual and then they cussing you out kicking you when you are down and stealing from you (so called men of the cloth)

its very important, more important than religious dogma. Oh and christianity is not spirituality, spirituality is not a religion or a relationship with Jesus. Its knowing your inner self and its not about worshipping Gods or Goddesses.

Humans are spirit-based creatures (unlike the animals) which is why we search to fill the "void" in that spiritual nature. Spirituality importance varies from person to person, but anyone who says that they are not spiritual is lying to themselves. They just haven't realized it yet.

For "spiritual" people it is everything.
To people with no spirituality, or a vehement denial of such, it is important too.
They feel they must waste our time and theirs by unceasingly trying to prove the non-existence of God

Its their blindfold against reality...
Its the safety-net between their falling selves and the cold, hard ground so far below..... and in many cases the safety net is full of holes enough that it cannot serve its purpose.
But it won't matter. We all die when we hit the ground anyway. Some of us just accept it.... while others don't.
