she want to feel warm..try getting her a cosy bed before she outgrow your slipper...and she thinks that you is her mummy...
it's good to find a companion for her....especially for them to play a round....you won't be there for her always when you are working

Because she loves you, and she likes to be near you. When Cadie was a kitten she used to sit on my feet when I came home from work. She sleeps on my jacket, I think it's because my smell is on there, and she feels closer to me, that could be the reason for sleeping in the slipper. =)

I would think it is a comfort thing. She is VERY young and has probably just left her mother. Having said that it sounds like she will be a cat with a foot fetish later. Some cats just love the smell of feet. I can't tell you why but 3 of the cats I have owned the present one included loved feet. My present cat chases my feet.

She is still very young and your feet and the slipper are probably about the same size and warmth as the litter mates that she no longer has (you know how they lay all over each other and snuggle). My cat never did that, but she was 1yr. when she adopted us. Our puppy that we got at 3mo. used to do that with my husbands foot all the time and still does occasionally (she's 6mo. now). I don't think it's anything to worry about, it's just very cute and helping her to bond with you!

Most likely because your feet and your fiance's slipper are warm and comfy to her.

Your kitten is probably too small to get onto your lap and of course wants to be with you at all times so she sits/sleeps on the only part of you that is accessible.

She's finding a warm spot. And a kitten of 6 weeks old should still be with her mummy.

Bless, she's probably just making herself feel secure and warm and protected. Also, that way she will know when you are moving and can go with you.
If it makes you feel any better, I think mine spent the night in the bathroom sink last night. He's about 12 weeks old and obsessed with the sink!

sounds like your feet are warm and soft....as for the slippers....if she sleeps in there maybe it helps her feel secure.

She's probably cold, and your feet are the first available warm place she comes to.
