Boy I would have loved to have you elaborate on this condition... It sounds like something that would be interesting to observe.
The solution to any problem that comes with a fixation or compulsion.
Honesty and confession.
It heals a world of ill's. I find that when I admit things to the person I am feeling it toward or against (no matter how dumb it makes me seem to them) it keeps me grounded and real. It is natural to feel envy and jealousy but it is in the secret aspect of anything, the breeding and festering places where you harbor and hold onto things in silence and secret where they become dangerous monsters and cross lines.
Admitting you are human, will keep whatever compulsion you have from becoming a monster. Life is about YOUR personal evolution and the evolution of those in your direct little circle. You interact with the people you do over the course of your life for a reason, even just for a second... everything serves a purpose and has the potential to become either a teaching tool for you or them...
I don't know exactly what you mean by "Morbid." though? SO I suggest you hold off on the confessions to the actual people you are feeling it for or over and consult a professional.
The magnitude of that word leads me to believe that it may be a bit more serious than just regular jealousy and your confessions should therefore be filtered through a professional first.
Good luck!

Depends on if they were put as a remembrance for someone passed on already or with fore thought about someone with less then slight chance of recovery. What makes something inappropriate for some people is the fact it goes against their norm of thinking. In reality, what is inappropriate is if something is done with malice of thought. Which by all reason and understanding, is certainly not you. It may be true that in a critical unit are mortality is often on our minds but by no means should it be swept under the carpet of avoidance in open discussion..

you know what the situation needs for you to become as everone else, you need to reduce your envy to a managable degree, to do this an increase in your self esteem is needed, you need to realise your worth, as a human being, how you live your life matters, for your own self respect. when the bedfellow of greed lifts his head above the parapet knock it off, try to perform one selfless act every day, even if its only a smile to someone you dont know, this will have a positive reaction, and you may reap the rewards, they may smile back. this will make them and you feel better about who you are.regards LF
