Since the universe is so incredibly vast, how can anyone say whether there is or not, unless we have been directly visited by other life forms?

Appearances can be deceiving.

look up the fermi paradox on wikipedia, its an interesting theory. but if life in the universe is very possible, however given the size and age of the universe - entire galactic civilisations could have rose and fell several times over before we had even decided to leave the sea!!

there is nothing stopping the development of extraterrestrial life, its just being able to find it, for instaznce a signal could be picked up tomorrow that had set off from hundreds of thousands of light years away - and by the time it gets to us, everyone in the alien civilisation would be long gone

If the answer to this question was going to be revealed in a few days and the bookies were taking bets on it, I would put my entire life savings, my house and my car on the outcome that there IS other life in the universe.

If there is not other life in this universe that would be more amaxing then discovering that there is life. That would be a miracle.

Other life in this universe - I am 99.95% certain of that.

OK, there are billions and billions of solar systems in our galaxy. There are billions and billions of galaxies... Now add a time component. Now add a distance component to the mix. There are so many vast variables to put in the the statistical model of life in our universe. I'd say the chances are pretty good. but now you seem to be also adding a "other life that have technology" filter on your search for life. The more filters you use to say that there is no life out there, the less likely you will find it.

The Bible does not reveal whether God created life on any of the other planets in the universe. However, astronomers today have not found proof that life exists on any of these planets and, in fact, know of no planet besides the earth that is at present capable of supporting the life of fleshly creatures.

However, extraterrestrial life of the highest order does exist. God and his angelic creation exist in the spirit realm. Not only do the visible heavens testify to his existence and godship but so does the written guide for information and instruction that he has given mankind - the Bible.

That's a bit like standing in the middle of the Sahara and saying "I'm the only one on Earth" just because you can't see anyone.

There simply isn't any evidence either way because the distances across the universe are so vast.

I will probably be slated on here for saying this, but as a spiritual medium I have contact with spirit who assure me that there is life on other planets. What form it takes I do not know. One day, hopefully, I will find out!

I believe in aliens. There are many galaxies and planets and even other universes. Of course there has to be something.

This question is so simple to answer. Jesus said there were ninety and nine who were safe in the fold. He came to seek and to save the one that was lost. The earth is obviously the one that was lost, so the ninety and nine must represent other worlds where the people have not fallen into sin. Our planet is the lesson book for the entire unfallen universe. From us, they will learn the terrible results of rebellion against God and the tremendous cost of sin. Thus, sin will never arise again

There are 2/3Rd's of the Stars of Heaven that did not Fall from Grace and Follow Lucifer. They remain in their unfallen state.
