My question is in America, do Americans believe the Fosters they drink is imported from Australia?
It is not. Fosters sold in America is actually imported from Canada.

It's the same with Blue Nun wine from Germany. Germans just ditch the stuff . they hate it.
So what beer types do australians drink, because honestly, I love fosters? If you have a better beer down under for me to try I want to know!!!

Yes I drink it from time to time but it certainly is not one of my favorite beers.
I am amazed that with all of the Beers Australia has that we do not see more different Australian beers here in America.
I normally have over 15 different beers in my refrig at any given time!

Well, Take Home Chef says he likes it and fed it to the other Autralians around. They were all saying that it's true Australian tradition to drink it....;)

I quite honestly don't care what they drink. It doesn't affect me in any meaningful way so drink whatever you want to drink.
