I am guessing your doctor is suggesting marijuana for relief of your son's nausea, vomiting and headaches. It is prescribed for and does work to relieve those symptoms for chemo patients and is legal as a medical treatment in some states. Check www.norml.com for the laws in your state. If you are in California, there are clubs that sell marijuana, seeds, clones, etc. with a doctor's prescription. Grow your own with seeds ordered online from Amsterdam or the UK where seeds are legal. Elsewhere, start asking around your friends and son's friends. More people smoke than you think - it's just not talked about due to it's legal status!

Marijuana is illegal still. I have searched on the Internet and found these sites for you. I hope that they will be of help. It seems that Crohns Disease in a few of the researches have been brought about by bacteria. I would do further research on here and see if there are any clinical studies besides these site I have given you. I am not a medical professional but if bacteria is the cause to begin with there may be a possibility of your son being treated with antibiotics if this be the case.

I would find another doctor if you are uncomfortable with what your son's current doctor is telling you. That does seem a bit odd to me that he would recommend marijuana before some of the other treatments available. I would also ask that new doctor about a drug called Remicade which is used to treat Chrons disease. Remicade is not a cure, but it can relieve the symptoms to the point where the patient can function normally. There can be side effects associated with it, which you should discuss with the physician as well. It is a very high cost drug, but there is a patient assistance program available that can provide the drug free of cost to US patients who meet certain income guidelines and have no insurance coverage for the medication.

Okay first every child has heard of the human centipede so many say that they've watched it when they got freaked by the trailer. It's not suitable for a child of 10 it's an 18 for a reason. And it may affect your child's mental health state and development more than you may think. I wouldn't recommend anyone watch it let alone a 10 year old

You might try Peppermint Plus by Enzymatic Therapy. It has helped a number of people with IBS. See the excellent book Digestive Wellness by Elizabeth Lipski for an excellent discussion and lots of helpful advice on these problems. Good luck!

It's used as pain relief for MS sufferers, but I don't think it's actually legal. Lots of people do use it though, I'd be surprised if you or your son did not know someone who uses it and could help you get some.

Your doctor has a point.

It is still illegal but I believe it would help your son get some relief from his symptoms.

I would certainly try it if I had what you described.

You need to take him to be treated by an Endo. Crohns could kill him without proper treatment!!!!!
