Appear for Civil Services Examination conducted by the UPSC and in the written test give IFS as the first choice. The marks obtained in the written papers added to that in the Personality Test becomes basis for the combined merit list as per total vacancies in Class I Junior posts in the IFS, IAS, IPS and other Allied Services under the Central Government. In case, you obtain very good position in the merit list, preferably among first 10, you are bound to get selected. Every year at least 5 to 10 vacancies arise in the IFS.

You must meet certain requirement to join Indian Foreign service.
Age it was 21-25.
Minimum Bachelors degree.
Entrance Exam-Qualifying score was 50%.

u have competitive exams for i.a.s. & i .f.s.. it is after the graduation. there is an age limit for that. u can enquire any educational departments. they will guide u
