If we don't stay and help the new government get set up. Another tyrant wil take power.
This same issue was faced in WWI but we didn't keep a good check on it so Hitler had it easy while taking power

No way. Most of the people in the Bush Administration are real Christian Americans Bush and Cheney found Rice and Powell while attending a church service in Southern Mississippi. Bush and Cheney found Carl Rove while Rove was doing missionary work in Africa Bush and Cheney found Libby, Frum, Wolfowitz, Perle and Kristol while visiting a homeless shelter in Jew York. The Scowcroft Group is a non-profit organization for poor Americans. Would you want Iraqi tanks rolling in Washington D.C.?

The leaders of the USA wanted military bases right in the center of the biggest oil producing region in the world, at the same time the USAian tax dollars and the proceeds of looting an oil rich country go directly to arms manufacturers ,and supposed nation re-builders (halliburton) which the leaders of the USA have financial connections with.
The supposed war also creates an environment that the USAian people can be manipulated into become more patriotic, meaning they are reluctant to question their government, ignore their diminishing human rights, standard of living, pensions, health care etc.
In short the leaders of the USA get vastly richer, it matters not to them that it is at the expense of the USAian Tax payer, the national resources of Iraq, and it has cost more than 2800 USAian troops, and 600,000 Iraqi civilian lives.

when you invade a country, you replace the the government... bush obviously thought saddam wasn't the right candidate so we had to find one... if we leave then we will get attacked at home sooner than you think but at least it wont be from IRAQ and if we stay we will still be attacked at home sooo....
we might as well do the best we can in iraq so we wont have to send our kids there in 10- 20 years from now....

Because we have to make sure their government is stable.
It was the same thing post-WWII. We could have gone in, taken out Hitler, and then left again. However, that would have left Germany open to another similar regime.
If we just left Iraq without making sure it was stable, someone worse than Hussein could take over. That's why we're still there.

It's all about money and power. Not helping the Iraqi people. Half the world needs help. Iraq just happens to be sitting on the second largest oil field in the world. And some want our military to be there for a very long time.

you dont understand this war because it is an illogical war.
90% of Iraqi people want US troops out!!
We we are staying there "protecting" people who hate our guts and would take any opportunity to kill us.
Meanwhile, people devastated financially by natural disasters in our own country are still homeless. They are begging for help, but where is the help?
In Iraq! I am sure the US soldiers would LOVE to come home and help Americans who need it here. Not Iraqis who think of our country as demonic and immoral.
Wake up America!
