Glucose is a simple sugar. Excessive amounts is bad for you (as with anything else). However, all food is essentially broken down into glucose. Glucose is good for you. It is the fuel your body needs to sustain itself. However, there is an acceptable range. Too little is just as hazardous as too much. The best place to learn about glucose and the acceptable blood levels is at the American Diabetes Association website. www.diabetes.org Hope that helps.
