Shih-Tzu
One of the strongest characteristics of the Shih-Tzu is its personality. The Shih-Tzu is a friendly, nonaggressive dog that is a good companion for children and other breeds of dogs. Shih-Tzus are known for their fun-loving play, romping around the apartment or in the country side.
The Shih-Tzu is a people oriented dog, they cherish no more than the love of people. They will sit patiently, remaining still with their eyes gazing intently on your face waiting for you to call them over to be patted. The Shih-Tzu is not a one person dog. Shih-Tzus are happy to entertain any stranger, once accepted by the family. This is one reason that they are becoming popular. They make friends where ever they go.
The Shih-Tzu has a lap dog personality. It is not high strung nor demanding. The pet Shih-Tzu is content during the day to lie in a corner with his legs stretched out behind him, snoring softly. If he has a choice he would prefer to be curled up in your lap.
I have had them my entire life they truely are the nicest and the cutest and most fun, and most loving!
Best wishes to you!
I also have a Japanese Akita,She is great but they arevery protective to the point where it is scary at times.Never mean to the family though and sleeps with my cats.I think she would hurt kids and small animals other than their families so be careful with Akitas.

Go to the pound. You will not be disappointed. They truly are sweet dogs - usually you can find dogs that are excellent family pets.

If you feel that you must have a purebred - Golden Retrievers are hands down the nicest dogs. They don't have a mean bone in their body!

purchase a e book approximately canines breeds and study by it. all of them inform you what to assume of a breed and additionally if the canines are sturdy with childrens. perchance you will come across a canines which you like which you have no longer even considered? in case you could - circulate to a canines tutor and seek advice from the breeders and go searching. this is an extremely sturdy thank you to work out canines in action. this is a very different element to fully see a canines stay. In my journey Spaniels have been staggering with childrens! The smallest spaniel is a "Papillon" the subsequent length up may well be the "King Kavalier Charles Spaniel". the two are very candy and hassle-free to coach. Chihuahuas at the instant are not sturdy canines for babies. there's a reason they get examined for undesirable habit at conformations and shows. they have an inclination to get related to a minimum of one individual and that they've a tendency to snap.

it completely depends on what kinda of nice your looking for. Every dog is an individual and therefore will act a certain way no matter what the "breed" is supposed to be. Some breeds have more leanings to being docile and "nice" like Shih Tzu's - they were basically bred to be lap dogs but they can also become jealous of their masters attention so there are 2 sides to the coin for every dog.

'Nicest' as in in well-behaved (with proper training & socialization), good with the whole family (plays games with older kids, tolerates mischeif with toddlers) , friendly attitude towards houseguests & strangers? Big dogs: Golden Retrievers, small dogs: Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

The nicest and BEST dog and one that would give their life for you and your family is the, Doberman!" BUT... This is NOT a dog for first time dog owners they need lots of attention and TRAINING from you! Dobie's are gentle, brave, and loyal! My first Dobie saved my son's life two times, once from a rattlesnake, and then from drowning in our pool. The eyes of a Doberman is like looking into their soul. It is undying, and unconditional love forever!

We have a miniature rat terrier. She is sweet, cuddly and well behaved. She is a very active dog and loves to play also! I would have to say she is all-around the best breed of dog I have ever owned.

I love Shepherds.

But the all time, sweetest dog has to be one rescued from an abusive environment, and placed for adoption in a shelter. They really appreciate their new family, believe it or not.
