why limewire works really slow on my mac?

it could be 2 reasons:
1. your computer is really full space wise (space is limited and this slows down how fast ur computer can work and move files)
2. if your on dialup your limewire of course wont download as fast as if you were on cable or above.

try deleting duplicate files, un-needed files etc. this will clear up some room on ur hard drive and make it a bit faster

Check your firewall settings. This is the cause most of the time.
