Im not gonna be like the rest and tell you that something is wrong with you for singling out the voice. Thats because scientifically, voice makes up for at least 10% (give or take, prolly more or less depending on person, but its definitely there) of what would attract you to a person.

My advice to you is to stick with him first, maybe its something you can shove aside as his other qualities shine through.

It depends on how old he is. Thirteen or thirty, there's a huge difference there.

If he's thirteen, stay with him girl, his voice will improve...some time.

If he's thirty and you're one of those types who like to "show-off" their boyfriends and get praise for it...dump him, it'll be embarrassing for the both of you.

At the end of the day, it depends on what you think. Do you mind the girly voice? After all, lots of guys have high voices...try searching up an audio clip of Joe Cole speaking.

Ooh.. hate to be in your position. Are you absolutely sure he's not gay? Does he talk girlish or queenish or is his voice high? I couldn't deal with it myself.. When my fella say's 'come here sweet cheeks' in his really deep manly voice, that sends me over the edge! Couldn't imagine hearing that in a squeaky feminine voice from a man.

Well.. If thats sth that is bothering you and if its all what you think about when he talks then I'd say it might break you guys apart. Try to focus on sth else when it starts to annoy you. If it doesnt annoy you and you're just concerned about what your friends might say then screw them its you life dont let them decide for you!

why the hell does it matter what his voice sounds like??

i could see if he has a great voice that you love, being with him... but him having a soft, maybe higher pitch voice shouldn't stop you from being with him... especialy if you 'claim' to love him... i have to think that you don't realy love him since your wondering if you should break it off with him over something that stupid...

Don't worry about it - his voice will probably change as he gets older.
