first u should be in a relaxed position and make yourself prepared for what ever ur going to do.chalk out the most interesting subject of yours and go thru it for half an hour than take a small break of 5 mins.similarly take short breaks every half an hour it will energise u.do some meditation and yoga to increase your concentration.dont think that studying is a boring job,set up small goals to achieve it in stipulated time. this will futher help u creating interest in what ever ur studying.

~it's difficult for anyone to stick to a single task for longer than an hour unless it is really stimulating- plan your study sessions with built-in breaks (try every half hour taking tens minutes away from your desk)...
~set realistic goals (want to cover A, B, and C this half hour) and reward yourself when you've accomplished your goal (will have a chocolate shake when goal is reached)
~somethimes you can be interested in your field but not find certain aspects of it interesting- (eg. it's possible to be into psychology, but not enjoy reading about statistical analysis which is still apart of the psych field)... sometimes it's helpful to consider how the specifics of what you're studying relates to your field in a big picture way (eg. how learning stats helps arrive at larger conclusions, how psychological studies make sense, etc)
~you might try studying with a friend, but make sure he or she will not distract you further...
~good luck... "doing" is always more fun than "studying", but consider it your entrance fee to get to the "doing" part!

Dear friend

The similar problem me too got suffered. I use to scold on daily basis with red marks in the report card in child hood days. Much lesser than average student. Later i come to know the following facts :

1) Unsystematic attitutde towards life : If we do any work without any attention our mind will record the same mode of learning the same will apply anywhere. Hence when you eat put 100% concentration, when you listen songs put 100% concentration, doesnt matter what you do put all your effort.

2) Ability to recall the memory : Take a diary and try to enter on a fix time what all you did yesterday what colour of dress you were wearing whom all you met go by clock method and try to recall all the event. You will benefit with active mind to record the things. The practise of diary will increase your studying capacity. When you grow up and be responsible this feeding of diary will add like catalyst and achieve any targets.

3) Meditation : Try to sit in any posture and control your breath for 5 minutes on every day.

4) Avoid day dreaming / going for any pleasure in abundance because your mind lost the power to hold and resist.

5) Good exercise will increase your energy level with a good sleep in night.

6) Eat healthy and green and leafy vegetable . Green is another symbol of growth

rest pray to lord every day for good thoughts and deeds

best wishes

I'll tell you how, just go and check out the people working construction on the roads, hot cold doesn't matter they have to work hard to earn the bread, if you don't study that is your future, if you study now then you will be making easy money ahead in your life..☺

That may be one of the reasons. Maybe you have too many distractions. I had to put myself in my bedroom and sit on my bed with no other distractions, (no television, phone, etc.). That seemed to help.

You might be ADD/ADHD. You should see a doctor to see if it is ADD/ADHD. It could also be that you're unmotivated. Check it out bro.
