My sis went to a party and overheard some guy talking about a video he had on bluetooth, when he showed it my sis leant over to see it and got the shock of her life coz she thought it was a mate of hers on the vid. My sis asked the guy to send it to her so she could check and it turns out it is. Her friend in the vid is completely drunk and this vid is obviously one that someone might not want people passing around. My sis has tried to figure out if the guy at the party is anyway connected to this girl, it turns out he had his bluetooth on and got sent it by some random stranger in a pub!
Anyway, I said my sis should definitely tell her friend about it asap, however embarassing it is. The thing is, my sis doesn't even know if her friend knows she is a bluetooth star, she looked that hammered that I don't think she'd have remembered anything about it in the morning!
Has this happened to anyone or any tips on how my sis should approach this with her friend?

well i think your sis should go to her friend and tell her she has something to tell her... and that she knows how awkward it is but she just wants to help before it gets any worse then should give the girl the video and leave her to watch alone to spare the girl more embaressment, then she should go back to her friend a few minutes later and try to figure out together how to stop it... starting by the sourse the jerk she was with in the video.

she should tell her friend immediately in case it gets sent to her bro or sis if she has any...or even her parents for that matter, she may remember who was at the party, things do come back slowly ater a drunken binge, she is being made to look a fool, and her reputation will be in tatters if this is not dealt with, also if it ends up on the internet, then it's there forever.. so tell her and let her know that this video is circulating...it could be embarrassing for her if someone showed her the video and she didn't remember...get the lad who has it and give him a good slapping for it, then report the evil little **** to the police

She needs to tell her friend but be sensitive about it and break it to her gently.
Also if she still has the fottage offer if she wants to see it but get her to tell her mate the story from the beginning she may get upet with your sis but it won't stay for long she will more than likely be embarrassed but at least she will know about it and hey these things get forgotten about in a couple of weeks so if i were her i would laugh it off and make a joke of it rather than getting all upset.

Your sis should definitely not tell her Friend. Its only going to cause her Friend bucket loads of pain and she will remember it for the rest of her life. Every time she meets another guy she will be thinking maybe he will videophone me aswell and end up dating no-one for fear.
Does you sis really want to inflict that amount of pain on her Friend, i doubt it.
In a years time, the video will be lost in the archives of old mobile phones and nobody will remember or even care.

Your sis should tell her friend right away. I don't think that there is any recourse she can take, however, at least her friend will hear about it from someone she knows and trusts rather than some stranger off the street. This way her friend can be prepared.

for gods sake, if your sister will not tell her Friend then you must,
it is not right or fair that she should not be told, at least then she might be able to do something about it.
your sister says that she is a mate, well I'm sorry but mates stick together and do not just sit and do nothing when a Friend is being abused and made to look a laughing stock.
so do the poor girl justice and tell her what is going on, ASAP.

this kinda thing has not happened with me or aquaintance but still i would suggest u sis must go n straight away talk to her friend .afetr all shes gonaa benefit her by doing so,n shes her friend .whats the embarrasment all about....ofocurse ur sis wont tell it to anybody n should in a plain n deccnt manner discuss it with her as soon as possible

This is so horrible. I can only suggest that you tell her and maybe she can figure out who did this and press charges. I think she will need some real moral support to get through this. Your friend also needs to know that she needs to not drink as it led to this. I would have her check into this though and for all we know she may have been drugged on top of it. Good luck!

i think your sis should say it to the girl straight away and tell her because if she doesn't remember about it and someone elae confrunts her about it how do ya think she would feel i think that it would be much better to come from ur sis. and get to the end of who she was in the video with and tell him to get rid of it or even go to the Police about it if it gets any worse. hope i helped.

talk to her calmly, or get someone who she maybe confides, respects or trusts to tell her, 'coz it might not be so nice for anyone to know that she's a bluetooth star. get her to know asap, what else...
n pump her up for some (good, hard, thoughtful, unforgiving, decisive) action as well... much needed to deal with such buggers...
if it is really demeaning or scandalous (u know what i mean) get the cops involved if required as well.
