well, its kind of a long story but being a lumber jack they think that they are ok it makes them sleep all night and work all day. these lumber jacks are usually big burly men who drink a lot of beer in the evening and they go to nudie bars where they leave their dollars on the counter and this dancer comes over to them and struts her stuff and takes the dollar and then they drink more beer and put down another dollar and the whole scene repeats itself until the lumber jack guy falls out of his chair or gets into a fight with someone else that has put down a dollar for the same girl and starts his raging jealously but then usually the cops are called before anything can happen and the lumberjack spends the night in jail and is let out to go back to work with a hangover and when he gets on the job he cuts down the wrong tree and it lays there and rots and before you know it there are rotting trees all over the place due to all the lumber jacks cutting down the wrong trees they need to be told to stop it.

Lumberjackes to not destroy the habitat. They cut down trees. Indescriminately cutting down entire forests or acreage can force animals to be displaced from their homes, and from their food sources.
Modern Lumber companies use a strict code of cuting trees to THIN a forest, but leave smaller trees to provide both a habitat for the animals and a regrowth of trees for the future.

Well ,first, whose habitat. The animals that live in the forest are displaced from their homes and natural surroundings. Second, the destruction of the forests cause strains on the oxygen levels and contributing to the abundance of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
That is why now most ecological conscious timber mills will plant trees to replace those that are being stripped away.
