Can anyone tell me what the difference is between windows vista RC2 and windows RTM............. And if windows vista RTM is the final version? Thats what i heard of RTM and that if anything new comes out it will in updates and service packs is that true??????????/

RC2 is release candidate 2 and RTM is release to manufacturing. I have been running the beta vista through the release candidates and yes, release to manufacturing is pretty much it unless there is a major recall or adjustment that is so vital it must pull it back from manufacturing. it is stated that june of 2007 is when the release candidate copies will no longer be valid so i would start looking then for the permanent vista to be advertised and then released in sept of 2007. thats according to microsoft.
