i consider myself to be a decent looking guy and would love to date an asian girl but i cant get them to even smile at me let alone talk to me, why is that? is it against their beleifs as another culture not to associate with white guys?

asian girls are considered to be rather shy and are intimidated by guys who use direct approach on the first meeting. If you really wana hook up with one on street, u gotta pretend to ask for directions and then proceed to casual conversations instead of asking a girl straight out... That'll scare her...
And well, that is not true that asian women do not like white guys. I know of many inter-racial dating/marriage... Probably ur timing is bad or u ain't the type for the ladies u've met,,,

I know plenty of Asian women who have hooked up with white men (Black men too). However, not here in the USA. If you want to talk to an Asian woman so bad, try to learn the language they speak. You may butcher the language at first, but that would at least show them you have an interest in them other than getting in her panties.

On the contrary, I think most Asians like Caucasians.
The typical asian women are just shy and uptight. Just change your approach perhaps. Most of us are just intimidated whenever white people chat us up because you just speak so fast and we cannot hear properly the enunciation of some words you say.
Try asking them questions about their place or about themselves.
