These are two good reasons for believing in evolution instead of these silly notions. We come from earlier life, through the familiar process of selection, reproduction, and variation. That earlier life comes from even earlier life. At some point in the distant past there was some primitive first life. It came from inorganic matter.
Where that matter came from is not clear, but we're making progress on understanding that. The leading contender, I believe, is that it DID simply pop into existence. I think that someday we may even understand how that is possible, but I'm confident that no-one today understands it.

Any christian who claims to have all the answers will be lying. We don't know who Adam and Eve's son married, I guess we can only assume there were other people on the planet, or maybe it was all kept in the family. After all, the law about incest being wrong only came in through the laws given to Moses. Up until that time, the genetics of the human race may well have been stable, having come from the perfectly made first people.
Noah was a descendent of Adam, of course.
Dinosaurs are found in the Bible (see link)
God did not disappear, He was intimate friend to Adam and Eve but the disobeyed his one command and brought sin and a curse to mankind. God has been bringing us back out of sin through Jesus ever since. The old testament has a thread of the coming of Jesus running through it.

god only created two people adam and eve one man one woman, he told them to have children ,remember the world had no sin then, everything god had made was good (read genesis 1,2,3,)then don't forget there is no time line mentioned in the bible look at the way cain left and the next line said eve gave birth to another son called seth but on the line underneath it says that seth was seventy years old so there is no time scale unless you study it, but anyway cain had a relationship with his sister but this is because sin had then contaminated the world, there were no laws then they did not come in until the book of Leviticus, when then god forbid it.god did no harm to humans he gave them a lovely garden with all they could eat he only asked for one thing ,do not eat of the tree eve ate of the tree and caused her husband to eat thus bringing sin,the reason it is called adams sin is because he listened to his wife not god after this man became sin-full ,we did not evolve we were created in gods image dinosaurs were created on day 6 when man and all the land animals were created ,the word dinosaur was not used then but dragon look up how many times the word dragon is used in the bible and look how these dragons are described ,also all animals were not meat eaters until after the fall which is when sin entered the world

Genesis chapter 5 reports the life of Adam and how he had sons AND daughters. Yes, it means they married their sisters or nieces. Yes, such actions are considered incestuous now. There is a good reason for this, due to the impoverished gene pool. However, it was not against the law at that time, legal or moral. Adam's sons and daughter were also closer to perfection than us. It was the only practical way for the human family to grow. If we consider that God is good and wise, we must assume that He would have made it alright, so that no problemss would arise as a result.

God created Adam after the dinorsoaurs but only a day after.
In answer to the main question. Read Genesis 5:3-5. Now I know it sounds gross. But at that time you married your sister. Some how it was ok then. So if you think about it. We are all distantly related. After a while you get so far from thew origional parents that it doesn;t matter anymore. In the furture if you want to ask a question maybe read some more about it instead of blindly talking like some of the fools on this forum.

A. Adam and Eve had more then just two kids. B. I remember the bible mentioning that CAin found a wife in his wanderings (meaning more people on the earth).
Part 2.
A. If all life came from a single cell, wouldn't all life be more simular?
Oh, and God didn't disappear. There are cases of the Saints being close to God through history. We, as humans, pushed him away. We are becoming more and more greedy, we want the flashy miricals or we turn away. He never left us. WE left him.

>OK, so lets say God created man, in the form of Adam.
> Then came Eve.
Seems fair enough to say that, since the Creator says that.
>They had two son's....then what!?
Cain, Abel, and Seth are all mentioned by name.
Three sons.
>Maybe I didn't read far enough...
Obviously. There are 1,189 chapters in the Bible. You didn't even get throug chapter five in the first book!
>but I thought one of their son's turned bad or maybe even died...
Such dismal knowledge of the very early chapters of the very first book. Cain killed Abel because of brotherly jealousy.
>so that left one son....
>who then slept with his mother to create more people!?
His mother was Eve.
What's the problem with Adam and Eve conceiving more children?
>Or did God actually create more people?
>I guess he must have cos Noah had to come
>from somewhere didn't he!?
And those early chapters actually provide the genealogical line.
Chapter 5 of Genesis (the first book in the Bible) tells Adam's age when he died and also tells that Adam and Eve had SONS and DAUGHTERS. The Jewish Historian, Flavius Josephus, says tradition tells that Adam and Eve had 33 sons and 23 daughters.
>And did he create Adam before or after the dinosaurs?
According to the Bible, the dinosaurs were created a couple of days before Adam. Of course the "scientists" can't accept that and so assign much earlier dates for dinosaurs. How do they date the dinosaur fossils? According to the "age" of the rocks in which the find the dinosaur fossils. And, how do they determine the age of those rocks? Well, it is evident by the dinosaur fossils found in them.
>Can someone just sum up how this whole thing started
>if I'm to believe it started like this at all??
It is summed up, quite neatly and accurately, in Genesis chapters one to five.
And as for the incest assertion. There was not as much DNA damage in that first generation; it was not considered "incest" until God declared that it was "incest" and that it was contrary to the Law once God declared it to e.
He (God) didn't just "disappear".

because if you aren't to any extent further between the in team, you're between the out team. Ergo, contained in the eyes of a Christian, if you aren't to any extent further a Christian, you're a Satanist. That stated, maximum Christians aren't to any extent further so slender minded, in actuality many Christians do no longer extremely position self belief in a God both yet persist with Christianity for different motives which comprise the social aspect or kinfolk expectancies. certain, there are some Atheists that do confer with themselves as Satanist. the starting up position of Leveyan Satanism is Atheism yet that's basically an attempt to operate ritual/dogma to humanism.

It's not possible to reconcile the Bible's creation story with any sort of fact. Most religious people don't bother - they accept it as a myth, a story about creation rather than something to be understood literally.
To answer your question about where we came from, we did not come from "monkeys" but we evolved from earlier ape-like ancestors. This means over millions of years we changed gradually, each generation being almost indistinguishable from the previous one. In exactly the same way as you share a common ancestor - your grandparents - with your first cousin, we share a common ancestor with the apes, and further back the monkeys.
Even further back, we can trace our evolution back through earlier shrew-like mammals, to the earliest tetrapods like the recently-discovered fossil Tiktaalik, back to fish, and then even further back to primitive forms and then to single-celled life forms. Where those single cells came from is currently a matter of some debate among scientists.

Adam and Eve had sons and daughters so Abel would have married one of his sisters which, although not possible now, was perfectly normal back then.
Biblically speaking we were created by God, and he hasn't disappeared but has set a time to rectify all wrongs and sort out the things that mankind have gotten wrong.
