you should be ready to go. unless you want it seasoned, but most people prefer plain breakfast sausage. i like the hot sausage patties, but i don't think i would in breakfast casserole.

the suitable i have tried are Morningstar patties and links. you received't mistake them for genuine breakfast sausage in any respect - yet they are quite good all alone. certainly good in a pinch.
