I would say better for those who can except life as nothing but a series of reaction, but far worse for the majority of those alive, those that need a meaning in life an explanation for existnace, and without an all explaining reason for living, many, many, many people would have a terrible time coping. Though religion causes war, it also is the reason for peace. So I would say the world needs religion, maybe a smaller dosage, but it definantly needs religion in order to be smooth.

Thre was a time when it was necessary .for peace and security in the civil society. but noe the case is different . the absence of religion would certaily do good for the humans . now it is the religio that is killing the humans .religions have mostly been built upon lies . now the lies are crumbling .
Everybody would have been happy if there were no religions .religons being based on the culture of the country or area to which the makere belonged .Threfore they are not universally applicable . Take for instancethe Purdha of the Muslim women. it is not acceptable to most of the otjee societies . so if the muslims happen to be amidst othere cultures , they face troubles . so also the sikhs .thier habits ,like keeping a short sword ,andturban ar not acceptabletop the otjheer cultures where the sikhs happen to live for some reasonm or othere , so also the hindus . their customs of applyiung some ash or sandal on the fore head is not accep[table to othere societies . so when intelligent people are capapble of adopting to the changed circumstnces , the others who consider their religious custome toe mre important whre eer they might be , face problems..People must understand that when they are in Rome , they must do as the romans do . It is a wise saying valid for any time and period pastand future .So the religious practices of one person is not acceptableto the other. No no religion is unversally acceptable .so these religions create troubles andcalamity to people who behae most foolishly when it comes to religious practices.

The fault is not with the Religions. The people who claim to promote the interests of a religion through hatred do not understand their own religion in the first instance. Formal religions are only a few hundreds of years old. Goodwill and mutual respect was the first Non formal religion everywhere. So, if the formal religions disappear also humanity will prosper.

I think it would be worse because i think some people ( like my family) use religion and the fear of hell as a way to get people to do wha they want, and to do what is good. I on the other hand am athiest(which my family cant understand) and can do the right thing on my own. I dont do it because god says so or i want to get into heaven.
so yeah i think the world would be worse off because without religion, ppl could do bad things without any fear of going to hell...
But yeah thats just my opinion...

Much better. There would still be wars, and patriotism would probably replace religion for those who crave an absolutist morality.
However, religion tends to make people morally lazy, because their worldview is spoon-fed to them. They are discouraged from thinking for themselves or opening dialogs with people outside their religion, except to try to convert them.
Without religoin, people would still disagree about things. But they would be more likely to work out why they disagree and make compromises. You'd have less of the arbitrary laws for things that really don't hurt anybody. Instead of concentrating on what is right and wrong, there would be more concentration on why something is right and wrong. People would be less likely to just default to, "God said so".

If there is no religion it would be better that there is no problem of religous clashes. But really to say that there is no religion only for our convenience we have created the religion in order to reach the GOD or to pray the GOD or anything else. All rivers go to the sea like that all religion will go to the one great sea which is that GOD.

If there were no religion, then there would never be hope. There would not be ethics or even the need of moral values. There would be no compulsion to help anyone else for the sake of doing good. Then we would have to find some other reason to kill each other... Lol.
Sorry about the pessimistic view, but let's face it, it's true, isn't it ?

THIS TOTALLY DEPEND ON THE TIME WHEN THE HUMANS WERE CREATED BECAUSE THE TIME WHEN THE HUMAN BEING WERE CREATED THEY REQUIRED A LEADER TO LEAD THEM IN THE PROPER DIRECTION TO BUILD UP THEIR PERSONALITY THEIR MORAL VALUES AND OF COURSE TOWARDS THE PATH OF PROSPERITY.
THINK OF THAT THERE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANY RELIGION?
COULD THE MORAL VALUES COULD HAVE DEVELOPED IRRESPECTIVE OF THE THING THAT TODAY THEY BEING DETORIATING DAY BY DAY BUT STILL MORAL VALUES HAVE THEIR EXISTENCE ...... AND MAKES IMPACT ON EACH OF US MAY BE ONCE IN A LIFE TIME
MY OPINION IS AS SIMPLE AS THAT THERE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANY DRIVING FORCE FOR THE PATH OF DEVELOPMENT ......... YES BUT I AGREE WORLD WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE IF THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN SINGLE RELIGION........ RELIGION OF HUMANITY.......

What if there were no traditions?
What if there were no laws?
And one could go on and on, yet in these, your answer helps answer your question.
In reality, however, religion is simply a system of beliefs or a set of evidence procedures used for establishing values and actions. Everyone has these system of beliefs, or evidence procedure sets no matter if they are large or small , organized or individual. To remove them would make life more tedious until eventually, inevitably individual belief systems galvanized again into another "religion"

If their wasn't any religions and just faith? Wonderful.First of all, religions are usually man made anyway. Secondly, can you imagine how wonderful it would be all GODs children following him together, with the original plan of worship. I didn't read anywhere where it said we had to have different denominations and then fight over it.
