Zeus and Apollo

Dear Magnum Dogs,
"The Lads", they were so-called were two beloved and highly trained, Dobermann Pinchers. Thier names were Zeus & Apollo.

And FYI, Dobermanns are, in general, a gentle, loyal, loving, and highly intelligent breed. Although there is variation in temperament, as most dogs, a typical pet Dobermann attacks only if it believes that it, its property, or its family are in danger. According to a study the Doberman is involved in human dog bite-related incidents less frequently than many other dog breeds. Those familiar with the breed consider Dobermanns to be excellent pets and companions, suitable for families with other dog breeds, excellent with young children, and even cats. PZB

yeah Zeus and Apollo rings a bell.
But you can always check.
I was sadly reliving my youth on YouTube, searched for Magnum P.I. and one of the clips was the very first scene where Magnum is trying to steal the Ferrari before being attacked by the dogs, Higgins calls to them I think

Zeus and Apollo - two Dobermanns. Wonderful breed of dog, I used to have one years ago. Daft as a brush, but very loving and loyal.
