If you want a CLEAN version without resorting to matches & candles.
Put very hot (boiling) water into the bottle - about a fifth full. Put a THICK cloth over the top & shake. Carefull!! This will heat & expand the air inside, quickly put the recently boiled egg over the opening and put bottle into freezing cold water. The rapid chill will cause the egg to be sucked in.

Sure! This is an ole jr high school science experiement.... It is done with air pressure..
You need to heat bottle up (take hot water & swish it around in the bottle)---> which makes air pressure increase, then egg placed on opening. As air cools, with less pressure on egg and bottle, room pressure is higher, this forms a kind of vacuum on the egg which is pushed into the bottle by the higher/ greater pressure of the room!
A fun, simple trick anyone can have fun with!

Put a lighted match in the bottle, put the egg on top and when the flame has used up all the oxygen, it will extinguish itself and cause a vacuum, sucking the egg in the bottle.
Then you have to find a way of getting it out before it goes rotten and stinks the place out.

Yes. Place vinegar in the bottle, then the egg vertically on top. In a day or two, the egg will slip into the bottle.

light some matches and throw them in first then place the egg on the mouth of the bottle firmly to seal it. the fire consumes the air inside creating a vacuum that sucks the egg in with the aid of the outside air pushing it.

I assume this is a glass bottle. Maybe put it over a flame to heat it while the egg is sitting on top.

You light a match or a candle in the bottle, as the fire uses the oxygen, it'll suck the egg in.
